2023-24 Writing Program Lectureships
The Writing Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for full-time and part-time lectureships for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas are invited to apply: Writing Studies, Rhetoric and Composition, and/or TESOL. The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties.
Become a Writing Tutor
Undergraduates at UCSC can apply to be writing tutors who work with students enrolled in required writing courses taught by the Writing Program.
Interested but not sure if you’re ready? Not to worry! The Writing Program trains all tutors through two courses: Writing 169 and Writing 159. Together, these courses provide tutors with the theoretical and practical knowledge they need to excel at helping other writers.
