The Writing Program’s administrative office is located on the east side of campus in Humanities I (HUM 1), room 209. HUM 1 (labeled on this map as “H1”) is close to Cowell College and Quarry Plaza, and its Google Maps address is 257 Cowell-Stevenson Rd. HUM 1 contains an elevator and external doors with ADA push plates.

By bus: UCSC is served by Santa Cruz Metro. Disembark at the “Hagar Dr (UCSC – Bookstore, Cowell & Stevenson)” stop.

By car: Recommended parking lots are #107 (ADA spots available) and #109. Hourly parking passes are available via ParkMobile. An alternative lot is #101 (ADA spots available), near Hahn Student Services. Parking in lot #101 will require a longer walk. The campus also provides this information about disabled parking.

By bicycle: UCSC is a bicycle-friendly campus. Bicycle parking is available outside of HUM 1 and at many places nearby. A bicycle map showing the location of campus bicycle paths and other information about biking on campus is available on the Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) website.

Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) has more information about parking permits, visitor parking, fees, and parking maps. Maps are available on the campus maps site, including the parking map and the central campus walking path map. (Also, you can sometimes park for free.)

The UCSC Visitors website also provides maps and directions and detailed parking information, as well as organized tours, virtual tours and other programs for visitors to campus.
