The College Course

AP English score can be from the AP English Language and Composition exam OR the AP English Literature and Composition exam. | *UC is accepting a score of 680 or higher on the SAT, Evidence-Based Reading and Writing to satisfy the Entry Level Writing Requirement on a pilot basis, beginning with new students entering UC in Fall 2018 and after. The pilot will remain in effect until a new policy is adopted by the Academic Senate.

Students will be placed in the correct College/Core course based on the chart above. Please note that students may not be ready or able to enroll in the correct College course until the corresponding test score has been received and processed by Admissions. Enrollment procedures vary from college to college. Students will receive information from their assigned college regarding enrollment in fall classes.
